This method uses strategic timing to cut down the number of sticks you smoke everyday. Begin by delaying smoking half an hour every day then start delay twice the number of hours every month.
Convince another person or a smoking buddy to quit with you. Having a smoking buddy to help you quit will also inspire him to do so. This way, you will trigger a sense of competition within the two of you on who will quit smoking first. Tell everyone that you are trying to quit so that they can support you all the way.
Never set a date when you will be quitting smoking because chances are, you will never be able to meet your deadline. It is much better that you quit the day when you begin to feel that cigarette taste bad.
Refrain from buying cartons of cigarette. The more you buy cigarettes the harder it will be to come by. If you have to smoke, purchase a single stick every time you want to smoke. This will lessen the number of cigarettes you will be smoking every day.
